Don't want to re-use the thru-bolts to connect your new Brown Dog motor mounts to the original Jeep engine brackets? This thru-bolt kit includes M10.9 through-bolts, all-metal locknuts (prevailing torque nuts), and washers.
While many Jeep owners reuse the mount to bracket through bolts, sometimes the bolts are cut during removal or turn up missing. These M12 bolts can be difficult to locate locally. Because some many customers called to obtain these during their installation, we thought we'd offer them as an option, up front. Thus, this bolt kit replaces through-bolts, lock nuts, and washers originally installed by Jeep through your Jeep motor mounts and Jeep OEM engine brackets. Hardness is 10.9 (Grade 8 equivalent). Unlike nylon lock nuts, all-metal lock nuts withstand the heat. Through-bolts are also known as cross-bolts. Length correct for all:
- All 4.2L, 4.0L Jeep Wrangler YJ and TJ,
- All 4.0L Jeep Cherokee XJ and Comanche MJ,
- 1987-1990 2.5L Jeep Wrangler YJ,
- 1984-1990 and 1997-2001 2.5L Jeep Cherokee XJ
- 1991-1992 2.5L Jeep Comanche MJ
Not for use with these 2.5L Jeep: 1991-1995 Wrangler YJ; 2.5L Cherokee XJ 1991-1996, 2.5L Comanche MJ 1991-1992.

Do not over-tighten when installing Brown Dog High Performance motor mounts. Read and following tightening procedures provided with the package. Over tightening will result in unnecessary vibration transfer.
